August 2018"Lovely little country pub, with a good choice of drinks. The food is good home made food and a very good variety of meals that should suit everyone. Plenty of vegetarian options too. You can finish off with a nice home made dessert. Don't think you will be able to fault the value, or the friendly service you receive. We will be adding this place to our list of favoured local eating places and will return soon." Mark H
We enjoyed a lovely family meal last night. Aged between 11 and 46 there was something for everyone, scampi, fish and chips, salmon and chili. Large portions, good price and friendly service
Having lived only a few miles from this pub all my life, it might seem surprising that I had not been in it until a couple of weeks ago, and that is a 100% failing on my part. We went for Sunday lunch and found the staff friendly, the food very good and extremely plentiful and the general atmosphere welcoming. It will not be too long before we return.

Came here for Sunday lunch with some friends last weekend. Never been here before and took a bit of navigating to get to, but worth the visit. Perfect idealic setting in the countryside in the middle of a cute little village, it offered the perfect retreat for a cloud and raining afternoon. Was especially nice with the fire going when you walked in. Food was really good! and especially the Chocolate fudge cake with custard! Lovely atmosphere and very relaxing. Decor was a typical pub feel, and really good prices! I also want to say how lovely the lady was who served us (Didn't get her name, sadly) - She was on her own, running the bar and restaurant on her own and it didn't affect the service or her cheery and friendly attitude. So, hats off to her for sure! Really lovely visit and will come back again

We cannot thank Brenda and her team enough for making our wedding day so special. It was a truly amazing day and everyone had such fun. Our wedding was in June and six months on our friends are still talking about it, saying it was one of the best weddings they had been to and what a fantastic job Brenda had done. The food was outstanding and fitted the occasion perfectly. Our guests were greeted with a glass of Pimms, perfect!!! Pictures and a blessing on the green, beautiful setting!! The pub was set up with a traditional wedding feel and looked stunning, exactly what we wanted, and the marque in the garden, which the locals helped to erect, was perfect for our entertainment. The Two Sawyers at Woolage Green is most certainly the epitome of “your local”, it’s warm and welcoming. Thank you so very much Brenda and the girls, you work so very hard, all the time. Also thank you to the locals who helped with making our wedding day so memorable. We would recommend Brenda to anyone for any occasion requiring a caring, elegant and professional touch.
September 2017"Out of the way" "Miles from anywhere but good grub and very friendly people, good beer and well worth someone who doesn't drink taking you there."
August 2017"A hidden gem 5 stars"
"I have visited this country pub on several occasions whilst visiting friends in the area, the food is some of the best fresh home cooked food I have tasted. Brenda the landlady and cook is the best for her homemade meals. Sunday roasts are to die for with at least 6 different vegetables on the plate. My favourite is the homemade sticky toffee pudding but I have also had ammereto bread and butter pud which was excellent. They have a black board with specials on and serving evening meals. This is not a modern pub it is very old and has lots of old character. If traveling near Dover or Canterbury get off the beaten track you won't be disappointed"
There is a function room available for all occasions.
